Welcome to Peepworld

Bert and Fi met in the summer of 2007. After 3 months Bert realised that Fi could sing and Fi noticed that Bert could play the guitar – they decided to write some songs together.
Bert was already in a pretty funky band called International Jetsetters, but the band decided it would be even better if Fi joined too, so she did. Bert and Fi played in the band and were very happy, but they thought they would be even happier if they started their own band with all the songs they had written.
After passing…(yup…passing) a porn shop in New York, they decided to call their band ‘Welcome to Peepworld’.
And here it is.
They hope you like it

More new releases coming up 2012-05-19 With so many of our bands in the studio it’s getting hard for me to keep up. However I can tell you that:

  • Komrad finally release their debut album March of the Robot Men through Big Red Sky in Mid June
  • Welcome to Peepworld release a new studio EP Charm Offensive shortly after
  • Tamara and the Martyrs are nearly done recording their first full studio album
  • STEM are in the studio recording their debut album
  • Les Clochards are in the studio recording new material
  • The Relationships are in the studio recording new material
  • Grant is close to completing a new EP
  • Three new BRS bands are either recording – just about to record – or just finishing recording material for release this year – watch this space

So many great bands in Oxford – so little time to see them all.

2012 2011-12-27 Big plans for 2012 – releases coming up from Von Braun and Welcome to Peepworld along with a compilation album from all our acts and a gig to promote it. Also looking at a few new acts to sign – watch this space.
From Wilderness to The Skittle Alley 2011-08-16 After an amazing weekend at the Wilderness festival – where Tamara and the Martyrs played – along with Samuel Zasada (why are they not on our label) – and Mercury Rev played the set of the festival – we are heading to Culham – in Oxfordshire.

Friday to Sunday of the August Bank Holiday Komrad – Welcome to Peepworld – Tamara and the Martyrs – Von Braun – Les Clochards are all playing along with some of our other favourite bands – head on down there for more bands and excitement.

Charlbury Festival 2011-06-25 We had a great weekend at Charlbury Festival Last Weekend with 5 of our bands playing:

The Rock of Travolta
Les Clochards
Welcome to Peepworld
Tamara and the Martyrs

plus loads of other great bands – everyone should go to Charlbury Riverside Festival – actually – no – you shouldn’t all go – it would be ridiculously crowded – but at least 2000 of you should make the effort. Oh – you did.
